Gas prices fall 2.1 cents

RIVERSIDE – The average price of a gallon of unleaded regular gasoline in the Inland Empire fell 2.1 cents Wednesday to $3.512, $1.102 less than the record high of $4.614 set on June 22.

The average price in Riverside and San Bernardino counties is 28.2 cents less than at this time last month, but 52.4 cents more than at this time last year, the Oil Price Information Service reported.

The Inland Empire average price has declined 89 of the past 92 days, including the past 22 consecutive days, when it has dropped a total of 24.9 cents.
