RIVERSIDE – The average price of a gallon of unleaded regular gasoline fell in the Inland Empire Monday for the 20th consecutive day, dropping a half-cent to $3.541.
The average price in Riverside and San Bernardino counties has dropped 22 cents over the past 20 days, including 1.3 cents from Saturday to Sunday, the Oil Price Information Service reported.
Monday's average price is 26.6 cents less than at this time last month and $1.073 less than the record high of $4.614 set on June 22, but 56.6 cents more than at this time last year.
The Inland Empire average price has declined 87 of the past 90 days.
