
A San Diego Unified School District supervisor who admitted stealing more than $26,000 from a school recycling program can serve his jail time in a work-furlough program.
A story Thursday said Jesse Michael Macias was sentenced to 120 days in jail.
A B1 photo caption yesterday incorrectly said that Maj. Gen. Charles H. Lyman II was commanding officer at Camp Pendleton in 1927 and 1928. In fact, Lyman was commanding officer of what became Marine Corps Recruit Depot in San Diego. The land that was to become Camp Pendleton was not acquired by the federal government until 1942.
